Date for next ARKIE CUP Tournament - Coming for 2013

Due to continued scheduling conflicts this year, the Arkie Cup Committee as decided to cancel the tournament for May 5 2012 and will instead start working on a date and site for the 2013 tournament.

Please watch this site or www.thearkiecup.com for information concerning the 2013 tournament.

We thank all those who have fished the Arkie Cup tournament  the last few years and want you to know the Arkie Cup will be back in 2013.

  2011 Arkie Cup Raised $5,000 to benefit Arkansas Children's Hospital

2011 Tournament had 74 teams for a 2 day tournament out of Dam Site Park Ramps with weigh in at Sandy Beach Park in Heber Springs.   The tournament is held to benefit the Arkansas Children’s Hospital and this year the event raised over $5000.   The winner of the 2011 event was the father and son team of Brock and Robert Bertrand with a 2 day weight of 25.77 lbs.  Their weight also included the big bass of the event at 5.43 lbs. 

2010 Arkie Cup Raised $4,250 to benefit Arkansas Children's Hospital

More than 125 anglers from across Arkansas and surrounding states participated in the 2010 Arkie Cup Bass Tournament, which raised $4,250 for Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Organizers of the third annual event, held on Greers Ferry Lake in April, recently presented Arkansas Children’s Hospital with the donation.

The Arkie Cup was sponsored by Payton Chevrolet and the Arkansas BASS State Federation Nation. The fourth annual Arkie Cup tournament will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011.
